Online Personal Training Client in Sweden Gets Her Body in Shape with Hitch Fit

Today’s story is from one of our clients clear across the globe in Sweden! Arely found Hitch Fit when she was wanting to improve her health and fitness levels, she wasn’t overweight, but just looking to tighten up and drop some body fat. This 30 year old mother of 2 at first thought there was no way Hitch Fit transformations could be real! But now that she is one herself, I’d say she’s a true believer :-) Arely chose the Hitch Fit Online Personal Training Fitness Model program. She did have some hold ups during the course of her program. She had to deal with appendicitis and take a step back due to some health issues, but she persevered as far as continuing to make healthy choices for herself! I’m happy to report that in a recent update, Arely’s doctors have figured out what was causing her distress, she is continuing on with the Hitch Fit lifestyle and is now all the way down to 16.8% body fat! Awesome job Arely, keep up the great work!

Arely’s Stats:

Starting weight: 55 kg

Ending weight: 53 kg

Current weight: 51 kg

Starting body fat: 26%

Ending body fat: 17.3%

Current body fat: 16.8%

Arely’s Story:

“I am a happy 30 year-old mother of two who loves to run and used to eat embarrassingly wrong in every imaginable way.  Before Hitch Fit, I could have easily been described as an absurdly picky eater and a disastrous, but happy and dedicated, runner.

During the past years, my fitness routines consisted basically of running like crazy and eating as ‘healthy’ as possible.  Of course, my definition of healthy was far, far, far from what really constitutes healthy eating; I would pretty much eat grapes and sugar-covered-cereal twice, sometimes even just once, per day.  Some other days I would eat some raw veggies with oat milk and chocolates and nothing else. I did not do this on purpose. I was not plotting something evil against my body and, other than the usual ‘I-feel-fat-and-don’t-fit-into-anything’ pms moments, I had definitely no self-stem issues. I just got my body used to eat like that; I was almost never hungry and always in a hurry.

So my Hitch Fit story begins when the nutriologist I had been talking to for a few months suggests me to check out some fitness and lifestyle transformation programs in my area.  Since I live in the middle of nowhere in Sweden, I looked for something in the USA. One search here and one search there and I ended up in the Hitch Fit webpage. My first thought was: ‘This is not real. No one looks like that before and ends up like that after.’ I closed the browser and went to bed but clearly, something caught my attention because the next day I was there again looking at the Hitch Fit webpage. The next night I was ready to start my program. I just kept repeating myself: ‘I will not get bulky, just lean. I will not get bulky, just lean’.

To be honest, I do not know why I chose the fitness model program. I was not nor am I aiming to compete in any fitness exhibition or competition. I guess I just saw it as one of the most challenging of all the programs.

I received my 12 weeks program within a few days and I instantly loved the fact that Diana answered my questions fast, sometimes just within a few hours.  It made me feel like she really cared. The workouts and the strength training routines were awesome! It seemed like a lot but somehow, I always found a way to do it; wake up and do cardio at 5 am, wait until the kids fell asleep and hit the treadmill, get out an hour earlier from work to the gym, etc. etc. You gradually learn that there is not excuse good enough for not giving yourself time to workout.

The hard part for me was all the eating the first weeks. Going from eating literally nothing to eating specific portions of protein, carbs and fat 5 times per day felt so weird.

The rest of the program was a truly incredible journey, to consciously become healthier both mental and physically is a one-of-a-kind experience. Your body craves healthy eating; your body demands the exercise.  You learn that your body deserves respect and continuous fortification. I wondered many times how I had allowed myself to unconsciously hurt my body for so long.  I even realized how awesome and loyal my body has been since it helped me grow and deliver two healthy babies, went back to its original pre-pregnancy shape and never ‘complained’ much about the mistreatment I was exposing it to.

The last 6 weeks of my transformation were a little bit more difficult since I developed some kind of allergy to something on my diet that caused me to get feel sick very often. The doctors did not know exactly what it was but I kept going on with my program.  At the end, a few days before the end of week 12, I ended up in the hospital because of what it looked like appendicitis. Thankfully, they did not need to open me but we are still taking many tests to find out what is exactly causing my stomach pains and problems.

So there it was, my Hitch Fit story in summary. I am long from looking like a fitness model but I am so happy with my results and everything I have learned.  I hope other people can get inspired to change their lifestyle when they read stories like this one. In the end, is not about how many pounds you weight or what percentage of body fat you have, is about learning to take care of your body and living healthy. Well, that is what I think.

Oh, and I did cheat a few times here and there; I had a slice of cake for my daughter’s birthday and sometimes I had fika, Swedish word for coffee and biscuits time, at work and with my friends.  I just tried to cheat as clean as possible and then I’d run those calories away.

Thank you Diana and Micah for my amazing program, the help and all the motivation you gave me.”
