Want female fitness model abs? Well hang on tight for this amazing transformation!

Andrea is a Breast Cancer Survivor whose goal was to get female fitness model abs.

She was diagnosed at age 29, she went through chemo and treatments and gained over 30 pounds. She first discovered Hitch Fit and reached out to us back in August of 2013, she was one year cancer free at the time, and ready to start making some major changes and really start working towards her Fitness Dream! Andrea has allowed me to share some of her very first messages to us:

Email from Andrea, August 2013:

Title: Completely, Absolutely, 100% Want Help!

“Hi, I’m Andrea and I’ve been hearing tons about this program and think it would be absolutely perfect for me! I’m a 30 year old female and at the age of 29 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. From all the treatments over the past year I sadly gained 30lbs and desperately want to lose that plus more and be healthy again. Being in the best shape of my life is very important to me and I see now how important good nutrition and exercise is. I want to do everything in my power to keep cancer away! I’m officially over 1 ear cancer free and can’t wait to get started!…

…I have always wanted the fitness model body, but when I find a trainer they don’t seem to know how to give me that body…. You and your wife obviously know how to make a dream come true!  I’m so lost when I go to the gym and don’t have a plan.  All I need is a plan on what workout to do and what to eat for 7 days a week and I will do it with no problem! Another reason I want this type of body is because I went back to school to be a nurse and will graduate this December.  I want my patients to be able to believe me when I tell them how important nutrition and exercise is.  Just like believing in a trainer that’s out of shape is hard to do; it’s hard for patients to believe a nurse who is out of shape talk about the importance of nutrition and exercise.

When looking through some of the transformation pictures I found some that gave me inspiration to believe I could look that great.  I love the look of Heather Weis’s legs!  I love the look of Brandi and Amy G‘s long lean torsos!  These looks are what I am truly wanting!  I want to be tiny, but have muscle.  I don’t want to be just skinny.  I will tell you what I’ve told my other trainers, I will do absolutely whatever you tell me to do and eat whatever you want me to if you can help me achieve my goal.

I’ve never really liked my legs or arms and want them to be the type of arms and legs that other girls look at and say, “I want a body like that!” rather than, “oh gosh I hope I don’t look like that!”  I am 5’9 and was once in modeling.  My body at one point was long and lean, but I used the excuse that life happened and now I’m 5’9 and not so lean. :) That’s no longer my excuse and never should have been.  I know I can get a body that is a million times better! (with your help of course) :) It’s also important to me to feel as beautiful as I can.  I know that might sound vain or silly, but it’s taking a while for me to feel comfortable in my new look after the chemo and surgeries.  I really feel this would give me the confidence that I’ve been searching for over the past year.  After achieving this goal I would highly consider adding, competing in a competition, to my list of life goals.” –  Andrea

I wanted to first share this initial message from Andrea because it is so profound to look back at it now, it makes me emotional to think about all she has been through, and how she has now achieved everything that she set out to do! Andrea started back in August 2013 with the Hitch Fit Fitness Model program.

In that first program, she shed  a little over 20 pounds, she also had more obstacles including surgery that she had to get through, but this girl’s spirit is relentless!! In May 2014, Andrea reached out again, this time she was ready to tackle her goal of doing a Fitness Competition. I was excited to have the chance to work with her once again, knowing how dedicated she was in her first program.

This time around she signed up for the Hitch Fit Competition Prep with her sites set on a show in November 2014. The transformation that Andrea has gone through is one that will knock your socks off. She was inspired by Hitch Fit transformations like Brandi, Amy and Heather, and now SHE is ONE of those INCREDIBLE inspiring stories herself!!! Andrea ultimately shed 54 pounds of fat and dropped body fat from 29% down to around 10% for the stage. Not only that, but she took home 1st Place in Novice, 3rd Place in Open and 5th Place in the USA Pro division!! Andrea, you are AMAZING, I am so proud of you and can’t wait to see what the future holds!

How to get Fitness Model Abs

Andrea’s Fitness Model Abs Success Story:

“I am originally from Olathe, KS, but moved to Sioux Falls, SD in 2012 to start nursing school. Moving to a new place far away from friends and family for the first time in my life was scary and stressful enough and then I was diagnosed with breast cancer; I had just turned 29yrs old. I was about 20lbs overweight to begin with and after chemotherapy, radiation and the surgeries were over with I had gained another 30lbs. I was 201lbs at this point in my life.  I thought, “How did you let this happen?!”

I knew I wasn’t living a healthy lifestyle before being diagnosed and now, more than ever, something had to change.  I was given a second chance at life so I wanted to make sure I was making the most out of the time I have here.  When I saw that dreaded number on the scale I tried to lose the weight myself. I lost about 15lbs on my own, but didn’t know where to go from there so I went out looking for a trainer to help me lose weight.  I found one, but I didn’t feel they had the same goal I did; I needed someone who believed in me and someone who would work as hard for me as I would for them.  This is where Hitch Fit came in and helped me change my life.

I had heard about Hitch Fit through a few friends back home and saw their amazing results.  I thought, “Now this is what I need!”After I was done with all my cancer treatments I signed up for the fitness model plan with Diana in August of 2013.

I saw amazing results in that first 16 weeks and wanted to keep progressing.  I wanted and needed something that was going to get me into the best shape of my life so I took a couple months off and then signed up to do a fitness competition.  Let me tell you, that is definitely a way to make a person lose weight!  The thought of getting up on stage in front of a lot of people, not to mention having them judge my body, definitely made sure I was going to give it my all and work as hard as I could.

I loved seeing the progress week after week! My first competition was in Omaha, NE in November of 2014.   Since I started with Diana, I had lost 54 lbs to make my total weight loss over that year 69 lbs.

I couldn’t be more thrilled and thankful Diana was there for me!!! She helped me reach and EXCEED the goals I had for myself!!  At first I told myself this competition was a “one and done” type of thing so I entered into all categories. I ended up placing 1st in Novice Tall, 3rd in Open, and 5th Place Pro.  Needless to say, this is not a “one and done “experience. J  I look forward to progressing for the rest of my life! So thank you, Diana, for believing in me and having the same goals I did!!!”
