Fitness Model Plan to Lose the Last 10 Pounds. Rebekah is a mother of four. After her third baby, she was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. Thankfully, she has been cancer free now for over 5 years! With her thyroid now removed, she wanted to lose the last 10 pounds and get back to her pre-baby body. She reached out for help, and went through the Fitness Model Plan.

Rebekah did an incredible job! She was disciplined, and learned to focus on her changing body composition over the scale. Those last 10 pounds are often the hardest to lose, and it is normal for the scale to go up and down, even as the body is consistently changing. She persisted, and achieved her goals!

Rebekah’s Story and Hitch Fit Online Personal Training Review:

Lose weight after thyroid cancer

“I have been actively involved in athletics my entire life, mostly running, but in the last 10 years I joined my husband in the competitive side of road cycling.

In that 10 year span my husband and I welcomed 4 beautiful babies, but as any mom knows that takes a toll on our bodies. Once I was cleared to exercise again after my pregnancies I took to cycling to try to lose all of the weight that I had gained, but that only worked after my first 2 children.

When our 3rd child was a baby I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, so I had a little help losing the rest of that baby weight due to surgery and recovery.

Praise the Lord I have been cancer free for 5 years now and we were blessed with one more baby 2 years ago, but I could not lose the last 10 pounds no matter how hard or how often I trained my body. I decided I had to change what I was doing because I was exhausting myself and it wasn’t working.

My husband found Hitch Fit over a year ago on social media and suggested I try it many times. I hesitated and procrastinated until I finally decided that this was the only way to get my pre-baby-body back.

I didn’t have very much weight training experience before signing up, but once I did Diana answered all my questions, even the ones I was sure I should know the answer to but didn’t have a clue. If it wasn’t for Diana as an accountability partner and coach I’d probably revert back to cardio exclusively for exercise.

There were a few times in the 2 months that I wasn’t sure I’d make it to where I wanted to be in the end because my weight occasionally went up slightly or didn’t change at all which really confused me, but Diana was relentless in encouraging me to give it time for change to happen and to stay on course.

I learned to not live by what the scale says because it doesn’t tell the whole story. She was right!

Nutritionally speaking I have generally been a healthy eater before starting my Hitch Fit plan. I never have kept junk foods in the house, made most meals from scratch, and drank lots of water on a daily basis, so my new nutrition plan wasn’t too overwhelming. But, the new diet was a learning curve at first because I wasn’t used to eating that many smaller meals each day and I figured out I didn’t enjoy some veggies very much, but it was worth it to find what I did like and stick to it.

I also have a few food allergies that I had to work around, but that never held me back from completing this program. Now that I’m finished I’m actually still eating most of what I ate during the program because it is a habit now. Probably the most valuable lesson I learned about the diet plan was when to eat certain macronutrients – the entire nutrition plan truly is a game changer – it was the key to reaching my goals.

My plans going forward is to remain a competitive cyclist in the warm weather months, but during the off season I’d like to see how much farther I can push my body in strength training with more of Diana’s coaching.

If you are a woman sitting on the fence, trying to decide what to do but you don’t really want to make a leap of faith, I encourage you to trust Diana and Micah because their plans WORK! It’s not easy, there is sacrifice, but you have their support! Your planning and training will be worth the effort!”
