Love in Motion – Diana’s Upcoming Trip to Haiti
Hello everyone!
I wanted to share with you all a very special trip that I am about to embark on. Earlier this year I felt that God was leading me to commit to a mission trip to Haiti, this is something I have wanted to do for some time now and found myself continually putting it off and telling myself that I had other, more important things happening that I needed to do during that time period instead. The more God pressed the importance of this trip on my heart, the more I realized that there was actually NOTHING more time worthy for me to be doing than this!!
There is a tremendous need in Haiti, spiritual needs and physical needs, the goal of this trip is to serve and to help in whatever capacities I’m able to during this time. I will be traveling with a work team for this trip, so the main focus will be construction of an orphanage. There are over half a million orphans in Haiti and there is an immense need to provide places for these children to grow and be educated.

The group I am traveling with is called “Love in Motion”, they are from Monadnock Bible Conference, which is in Jaffery, NH near to where I grew up in Vermont. My father and step mother are also going on this trip with me (they actually met on a mission trip to Haiti years ago!), they are two of the team leaders and have been doing work in Haiti for many years, so I’m looking forward to finally having the chance to go with them! Love in Motion sends work teams as well as medical teams to Haiti on a regular basis, so if this is something you are interested in doing in the future, check out their website.
Micah and I sponsor several children in Haiti through Monadnock Bible Conference, this is another one of their programs. The reason I choose to support the children in this way is due to the fact that I know the individuals running the sponsorship program and I know that my money is being used directly to put these children through school and to be sure that they are fed on a daily basis. I will be in Haiti from November 8 – 17, I ask that during this time period you would pray for myself and for my team. I ask that your prayers specifically ask for our ability to serve in our greatest capacity and for God to see us through each step of the way!!
I will be taking pictures and videos to share when I return, and I’m sure I will have plenty of stories!!
