Quick Changes For Faster Fitness Results

Looking to obtain faster fitness results? As you go about your workout program, it pays to look for little ways that you can create change that will not only shock your body into seeing better progress, but that will also challenge your muscles in a slightly different manner.

Always remember, if you go into the gym and perform the same workout over and over again, it’s only going to be a matter of time before you are stuck in a progress plateau.

Fortunately, you can bust through using the following tips.  Here are some super simple, yet highly effective changes you can make to your regular standby’s to see faster fitness results.

Sumo SquatThe Sumo Squat

There’s no question that if you want to build an impressive lower body, squats are a must.  But, doing standard squats workout after workout can get to be tiring, which is why switching it up is a smart move.

Rather than doing your standard squat, turn the feet out ever so slightly and perform a sumo squat instead.  This will help you target the inner thighs to a larger degree, maximizing your muscular strength.

The Close Grip Bench Press

Next, also consider doing a close grip bench press rather than a standard from time to time.  While this one won’t work the chest muscle quite as much as the regular position will, it’ll really bring those triceps into action.

This can help you build up your arm muscles while gaining strength overall. Do this for a few weeks and then don’t be surprised if when you move back to the regular bench press, you’re stronger.

The Single Arm Pull-Down

One big problem with some exercises is that if you do happen to have one side of the body that’s weaker than the other, it can begin to overcompensate.  As time progresses on, this strength indifference will the only get larger and larger.

To put a stop to this, incorporate in some single arm work.  Doing a single arm pull-down for instance will help ensure both lat muscles are working hard individually so that when you do the standard late pull-down again, you feel that much better.

The Rotating Bicep Curl

Finally, the last way to change up your workout routine ever so slightly to see better results is to perform a rotating bicep curl.  Rather than doing just a straight dumbbell curl or a regular hammer curl, start out in the in the hammer curl position and as the weight nears your shoulder, rotate it inwards as far as you can go.

Squeeze the bicep at the very top of the muscle and you can be sure that this technique is going to help bring out that bicep peak that you may be after.

So don’t be afraid to make small adjustments to your exercises from time to time. It really can be one of the best ways to jump-start a stale workout routine, get you interested in coming to the gym again, and help you see even better results than you were before.
