WBFF Muscle Model Wayne Jackson

NEW WBFF PRO  MUSCLE MODEL!!

My name is Wayne Jackson. I’ve been seriously exercising ever since I was 13yrs old. I’m ACE certified personal trainer and founder of Go Hard Training. I’ve been personal training for 10yrs.

Where do you live?

I live in Lawrence, KS

What are your athletic achievements and/or competition history?

I started competing in bodybuilding back in 2005, my first show was the WNBF Kansas City Gold’s Classic. I took 2nd place overall and almost won my pro card in my first show which at the time was one of the WNBF’s toughest shows to compete in, needless to say that loss left a bad taste in my mouth and I was hungry for a pro card. I entered the WNBF Southern States Classic in April of 2006 and won my pro card.

What or who inspires you to compete?

From my own experience at training for competitions and knowing how much knowledge, discipline and effort it takes in getting your nutrition and strength&conditioning on target to just be able to get on stage and compete as well as the camaraderie amongst those in the industry. When you see that person breakdown as their name as the winner is announced, you know what they went through and anyone who has ever won or accomplished anything that required nothing less than their all know and love that feeling of conquering.

What excites you most about competing with the WBFF?

The wonderful promotional opportunities that are possible just by competing in the WBFF also the fact that just by what I see through the photos and the videos I feel this is where the best competitors are and I want to see how I compare to the best competitors WBFF has to offer.

What are your future goals?

My future goal is once I earn my pro card again to continue competing for atleast the next 5-10yrs if possible. I’m anxious to see how far I push my physique as well as what opportunities I can gain and goals I can accomplish by competing again.

What obstacles have you overcome?

After winning my pro card in 2006 my business as a personal trainer begin to grow so fast I had to step away from competition bodybuilding to do something I love even more…helping others improve their lives to a more healthier and fit lifestyle by offering my nutritional guidance and my expertise on exercise. In 2009 I was able to balance my own training time with training others and decided to get myself back into competition shape and compete in bodybuilding but with a new organization that I had not decided upon yet. On April 26, 2009 I suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subarachnoid_hemorrhage On the eve of the day I was going to be released from the confines of the hospital the inaugural issue of KC fitness magazine came out that of which I was on the cover of so now I’m looking at it in my hospital bed happy but depressed that at that moment I’m not that strong happy guy on the cover. I had made plans to get back into competition bodybuilding that following fall season. I left the hospital after 3 days when most people are not healthy enough to leave for at least a month and I did recover but its been a long hard fought battle these past two years getting back to where I feel physically and mentally ready to try competing one more time. Sunday, March 6, 2011 I woke up to my beautiful January standing right over me as the sunshine from the window illuminated behind her smiling with that big Richard January, Sr. smile asking “Dad can you um record a movie for me?” but she doesn’t really mean record she means that she wants me to play a movie we recorded for her on DVR but its so cute sometimes, I look over at my clock on my phone that read 9:59 I thought “Oh s**t I’m gonna be late for my workout with Brandon!”. I run downstairs to get a few glasses of water in me so I’m hydrated enough to get through the workout and I look over at the computer and my inner voice is saying “Just go over there login get on the site and register for that show…you know you want to”. So I go over and google the WBFF website as I’m searching my heart begins to race and those goosebumps appear. I find it and provide all the necessary info and I sit there for one minute which seemed like hours staring at the submit button to pay and enter into the WBFF….click, I did it! Oh my goodness I was so excited I ran upstairs to tell my wife I did it then all of a sudden I began to cry tears of happiness cause I felt all the time I preach to my clients to Go Hard and try to instill in them to understand no matter how impossible a goal seems that if you truly believe and give it their all they can reach it. My clients believe in what I tell them and every last one of them have inspired me in more ways than they know so now I feel like its my time to put my Go Hard where my heart is and return that inspiration. Can I win it all? Today I don’t know the answer to that question but I’ll tell you one thing, I’m goin in at the WBFF Central Championships & I’m gonna Go Hard!, GHYEA!

How can people find more about you?

You can contact me by submitting a email to [email protected] or search the “Go Hard Training” fan page on face book.

Is there anyone you would like to thank?

First and foremost I would like to thank Jehovah as well as my Lord & Savior Jesus for giving me the ability to achieve what I have up to this point. I want to thank my beautiful wife Adrianne Jackson for being my Superwoman and truly believing I’m destined to do something extraordinary even when I didn’t believe it myself. I want to thank my daughter January, just by her birth alone and the unconditional love she gives me has shown me how much more fulfilling it is when you’re able put 100% effort into working for the benefit of someone besides yourself. I want to thank my entire January family, we hold our name up to a high standard and expect great things from each other because we know every single one of us is capable of nothing less. Lastly I want to thank my mother Louise Jackson for always letting me know that if I do my best it’s either as good as, if not, better than anybody else’s best.
