*What are your athletic achievements and competition history?
I have been very active and successful in sports my entire life. I previously competed in the 2011 WBFF Central US Championships and placed 3rd overall. :)
*What or who inspires you to compete?
I feel like I owe it to myself and to my hometown to compete. Because I do come from such a small town (of 2000 people), not many people have the opportunity that I have been given to go out and chase their dreams. I am one of few that have gone on to compete in a world organization. I feel very grateful to have this opportunity to achieve my lifelong goals. I have such a huge support behind me from my family and friends and I couldn’t be any luckier.
*What excites you most about competing with the WBFF?
I am the most excited that I have been given the opportunity of a lifetime. Most people will never have the pleasure of being able to compete with the WBFF Family. It opens so many doors for your future in the fitness industry, and is overall the BEST OF THE BEST! I love the experience, the rewards, the exposure, and just that special moment on stage where you can think to yourself “Wow, I really feel like somebody now!” The Athletes are AMAZING inside and out & everyone is so supportive of one another (True Sportsmanship)!
*What are your future goals?
My future goals are to become a WBFF Pro Diva Bikini model :). Also, I am currently going to UMKC Medical school to become an OB/GYN to delive babies.

*What obstacles have you overcome to achieve your goals?
Since, I am going to college, it’s very hard to balance work, school, and fitness. I have always been someone who works 100% at everything I do and I never give up. In April of 2005, I was injured from an sporting accident and ended up shattering my foot; having to have multiple surgeries to repair the damage. The doctors told me that I’d probably never be able to run again, let alone compete in any sports. I couldn’t believe the news I had received ad mad it my utimate goal in life to do what the doctors said I wouldn’t be able to do. I put my entire heart and soul into my hard work and in the end it paid off…I was very successful in highschool sports and now I am on to competeing in one of the best fitness organizations in the industry. In March 2011, I had to have surgery on my lower back due to a suspisious mole (Already having a history on Melanoma Skin cancer). Luckily It came back cancer free, but it set me back in my training a few weeks in fear of reopenening my sutures. I went on to place 3rd overall in the WBFF. Now, I am stepping back on stage to defend 3rd place, but hopefully I move on to represent the WBFF as a Professional athlete.
