A note from Hitch Fit Online Personal Trainer Diana Chaloux – LaCerte:
I love it when I have a transformation to share that keeps me up at night because I’m so excited at the huge impact and ripple effects of positive change that it will have. That is the case with Ann Davidson’s story. Her Fit after 50 Jaw Dropping Transformation has blown me away!! Words can’t even explain how proud I am of this incredible lady, the challenges that she has tackled and overcome, and how she will be such an inspiration to SO many men and women who think that change isn’t possible for them. This story will hit home even harder for those of you who are over 50 years of age and think that maybe it’s too late. Two words. It’s NOT. Get ready to be inspired.
A couple things about Ann. She started her plan nearly one year ago, in May 2017. She is 53 years of age. She was not in a healthy place. She was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and her cholesterol was getting high to the point where she was going to have to go on medication. Energy levels were down and she was dealing with a lot of pain. When she started her Hitch Fit online personal training PLUS plan (which she did two back to back for a 10 month time frame – this did NOT happen overnight!!), she was going to be doing everything from home so bought some simple equipment so she’d be able to start strength training. Her weight was 241 pounds and body fat was 55.1%. She was READY after being inspired by the transformations of Rob and Anissa Elsey.
What was so fun was seeing how Ann changed through this process, and not just physically. She faithfully checked in with me every single week. She was growing in confidence in herself as she saw her body change and experienced the gains in strength. I would just smile when I could sense that she was growing more and more empowered as she took charge of her health! Ann dropped her scale weight to 166 pounds, a Fit over 50 75 pound weight loss success! She also lost 30% body fat and gained lean muscle. She dropped 39 inches from her body!

Ann’s story and Hitch Fit Online Personal Training Review:
“You’ve heard the saying, a picture says a thousand words, I have that picture. When I saw the picture of me at my step-son’s graduation, those words were spoken. At this celebratory event, I had to be in the picture, not just take it. It had been a long time since I had been in a full-length picture, and boy did it bring me to terms with how I looked. That was the turning point for me.
Up to this point, I had many reasons that got me to the point I was at. First, I had Rheumatoid Arthritis, thus I thought I couldn’t lift weights, run, exercise with any regularity. I was diagnosed with mild-moderate RA in 2011, during the first few years, I walked daily, and at one point worked with a personal trainer for 6 months, lost some weight and then I had an injury. That was the point where my fitness level started to decrease gradually, and my weight slowly went up (and up). During this time, I was working with my rheumatologist to find the right medications to help with my pain and inflammation. I had some days at work where walking to meetings was painful and though I tried to hide it, the work still had to get done, so I worked my way through it. Second, my job was stressful, and I was working 50-70 hours a week, I didn’t have time to exercise or eat right. Plus, after a long week, some margaritas sure tasted good. Third, I was happy, so was it necessary to work hard to get in shape and loose weight.
In early 2017, I was fortunate to leave my stressful, demanding job and start a new career. When I first moved, I would come home from the office, and have a drink or two, or a sweet treat. After two months of this, and I hadn’t started exercising, which was my plan when I moved, I saw Rob Elsey’s progress on Facebook, and decided it was time for me to start. I had discussed Hitch Fit with Anissa previously, but hadn’t taken any action. My husband and I had a trip planned in late July, so being able to walk on tours and enjoy myself was one stimulus for me to start. A second was I saw others around me in the community that were obese and thought, is that what I want to become (not realizing that I was already obese).
I signed up for the Hitch Fit online personal training program in May and started the week after Memorial Day. We already had cardio equipment, and I didn’t feel comfortable going to a gym, so I went bought some dumbbells (5 & 10 lbs to start), resistance bands and a bench. I now had the equipment I needed to get started and the convenience to workout when I scheduled it into my day. I started the day with fasting cardio on my exercise bike and in the late afternoon would be my weight workout. After I started Hitch Fit and cleaned up my nutrition, within two weeks I felt better, and the scale had gone down. I knew this was the plan for me and I had a goal that I was going to achieve. I wanted to be in the normal range for my height, for both weight and body fat %. This goal and the results I was having, kept me motivated to follow the program as written for me by Diana; seeing the other successful Hitch Fit Stories, and wanting to be one myself.
I have done two transformations programs back to back, the first was 16 weeks and I lost 36 lbs and went on one cruise; and the second was 24, lost 39 lbs, I enjoyed two vacations during this time. While on vacation, I watched what I ate, trying my best to stay on schedule and eating correctly and scheduling in my day, time to work out. Between my all my measurements, I have lost over 39” and have dropped 10 dress sizes. Another benefit to the program was my cholesterol dropped from 238 to 140. I was on the verge of going on medication, now that isn’t even a thought.
I can now do activities that I never imagined I would be able to do before, do to my weight and RA. I am so glad I have taken control of my life and my destination. The changes that have occurred are amazing, and the compliments I get are crazy. I am now at a weight I haven’t been for over 20 years and I am ready to run (not walk) a 5k! I will be honest, there are those days when I am alone, where having a treat (a cheat) would be easy to do, but I think about it for a few minutes and then I move on, get a drink of water and go for a walk. I’ve come too far in this 10 months to let anything change the direction I’m going, and that is up (scale going down) ? My name is Ann Davidson, and I believe! ”
