WBFF Male Fitness Model Everette Henderson
Name, Bio and Stats
Everette Henderson, I’m 6’5” and my healthy happy comfort food walk around weight is around 220. I would love for that to be my contest weight but no dice. Contest I’m between 205 and 210. Unlike most of the guys around me, I’m not a personal trainer and the fitness industry is not my income generator. I’m a Juvenile Probation officer and I’ve been dedicated to changing the lives and troubled teens for over 10 years. One day I hope to transfer that energy to transforming lives through fitness but, I realize my career is much bigger then me and my work here isn’t done yet.
Where do you live?
I’m from Milwaukee Wisconsin but I currently live in San Antonio Texas. ( Hooray for 80 degrees in December).
What are your athletic achievements and competition history?
I’ve been an athlete pretty much all my life. I was a member of the St Mary’s University National Championship Basketball Team. After leaving basketball, I got into weight training pretty hard. It’s always been a passion of mine. I’ve also been a top 10 points finisher in two different organizations for Motorcycle Drag Racing. I love to compete. I’ve been on and off stage for a few years not and I can honestly say there’s nothing like it. I’m a Fitness Model Pro with Kendall Woods Fit Sciences Championships and presently on track to Crush it with Jason Powell and Kai’s REAL Championships. It’s such an honor to be recognized as a pro with several different organizations. I expect nothing less from the WBFF.
What or who inspires you to compete?
What inspires me to compete first and foremost is the will to win. I’m a very competitive guy. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t do it with the expectations of coming out on top. What keeps me going is knowing that my physique will one day be mentioned in the same breath with the likes of Obi, Kendall, Washington, Rob, Micah, Kelechi and the rest of the greats in the fitness industry.
What excites you most about competing with the WBFF?
I’m excited about competing with the WBFF because I know the Best of the Best will be on stage when the curtain is raised. The venues are amazing, the glamour and glitz is way beyond fitness and bodybuilding. I can’t wait to showcase my physique in a stage that big in front of an audience that large.
Immediate goal this year is to be featured in a fitness magazine. I can’t say I’m ready for covers, but being one of those guys in the magazines I often read pretending to lift something really heavy would be a huge accomplishment for me. I guess I don’t dream very big.
My long range goal is to be the face of the guy showing everyone out there its never too late go get your body right. I plan to be fit for a very long time and I want to set the example for others to follow.
What obstacles have you overcome to achieve your goals (what’s your story?)
The obstacles I’ve faced are way too many to list. I’m definitely one of the industries come back kids. Recently, I had elbow and wrist surgery in October 2010. I feel I’m not 100% recovered from that set back but I refuse to allow that to be an excuse for not bring my best to the stage.
How can people find out more about you?
Facebook is the best place to get more info on my everyday life.
Anyone you would like to thank who has been a part of your fitness journey?
I’d like to thank first my family for their continued support I couldn’t do any of this without them.
Lucas Irwin from Unbreakablegear.com He allows me to be one of his Unbreakable Athletes
Jason Powell and Kai they have supported me from day one and for REAL and making me a Fitness Pro in their organization.
