Whitney’s Weight Loss Success! From 28.7% Body Fat to 10% and 1st Place Figure Competitor!

Whitney Shed 18% Body Fat in 18 Weeks and Won her First Figure Competition!

Whitney has a story that hits home with a lot of women. She was active all of her life, very involved with sports and never had to worry about her weight, but then once “real” life settles in, things start to change, a couple pounds of weight gain turns into a few more pounds and before you know it, you no longer recognize the reflection in the mirror.

When Whitney and I first met, she was interested in Figure competing, it was something she had thought about for a while, but just wasn’t sure where to start or how to get there. I told her that the journey would be a tough one, but that whenever she was ready to take that leap of faith I’d be happy to help her. I saw a lot of myself in Whitney, her story reminded me of my own, I remembered how it felt to feel out of control of my own body and not quite sure how to get it back to where I wanted it.

We are SO proud and happy to share with you online training client Daiquiri’s amazing 12 week transformation success story and pictures!

Daiquiri, (Yes that’s her real name!) first came to Diana  expressing that she was almost 40 years old and wanted to take her fitness to another level. She was consistently working out, but wasn’t seeing the results and changes in her body that she wanted. When Daiquiri first started she visually didn’t look overweight, but after checking her body fat we found that she was at 28%. Daiquiri’s “trouble spot” had always been her legs, genetically the majority of her fat was being stored there, so this was an area that she was really hoping to improve on.

One of the Best Transformations you will ever see!!! 50 year old Mary lost 41 lbs of Fat

This is one of those transformations that your jaw drops to the ground.  Mary is a 50 year old that started at 167.4 lbs, 40% bodyfat and arthritis in both knees.  She didnt let any of these factors hold her back from reaching her Amazing transformation.  In the 8 years I have trained this rates up with the best.  She lost 41 lbs of fat, 20% bodyfat, 7 3/4 ” around her waist and 8 ” around her hips.  She nows weighs in at 127lbs at 20.66% bodyfat.  This puts her in the top category in her age group.  Mary is also going to be competing in a upcoming triathelon.  People I cannot explain in words how emotional I get with this one.  She did everything I asked, ate perfect throughout the holidays which is very difficult.  She never made an excuse, she set a goal and got there.  I am so proud of her.  Please take the time to watch her video and read her testimonial.  If she can do this so can you!!! 5 Keys To Effective Workouts

The Mind and Muscle Connection.

How Intense are your workouts?

Have you ever gone to the gym and your focus was not on the workout? You were on the elliptical thinking about how you hate your job or stressed about bills, just going through the motions. You tell everyone “I work out 4 days a week but I’m just not getting results.” Why is it that you are not getting the results you desire?

One part of the puzzle is what I call Mind and Muscle Connection. Think about it like this. You go to work and have a task that your boss lays out for you. She gives you a time period to get it done and what she expects within the task. You are thinking about how you are going to make this the best possible and excel in every way. You are hoping to get that promotion that you have wanted and needed for some time. This is much like working out. You need to go to the gym with a purpose, with a task. You have a goal set and you have to do everything you can to reach that goal in the shortest amount of time.
