For 2012 we will be offering THREE posing and stage presentation workshops!

We are pleased to announce that we will once again be hosting a series of workshops here in Kansas City! These classes will be perfect for athletes who are planning to compete with the WBFF, or for those who are just interested in learning more about what it takes to step on stage at a show, all are welcome, newbies to experienced competitors.

We will cover topics including posing, stage presentation, tanning, hair and makeup (for the ladies), suits, themewear and what to expect at a WBFF event. We will be going over your T-walks, the unique style of how to pose for the WBFF, and Quarter Turns, we will do our best to give you as much feedback as possible! Ladies please bring your posing shoes! We will also cover the topic of how to market yourself as a bikini model, fitness model or figure athlete in order to attract the greatest opportunities for yourself within the industry.

Please dress to impress as we will be doing videos, interviews and photos at these workshops, we are always looking for new stars!

We plan to have a ton of fun at these workshops and it gives us a chance to get to know a lot of the people who are planning to compete in the show we are hosting on May 12, 2012 here in Kansas City, as well as all the WBFF events which will be taking place throughout the US, Canada and over seas!  If you are from outside the KC area and would like to attend you are of course more than welcome! We can give you a couple hotel recommendations if you need to book accommodations.

We woke up Sunday with a plan of running around getting some Christmas Shopping done and relaxing, little did we know what we had in store for the day.  I got a message from my cousin saying I hope the damage is not bad.  Damage?  I replied.  She says I just saw you on Fox 4 news here your Gym got hit my a Drunk Driver. Our first reaction was laughing, running into our building is a tough thing to do but the man was drunk.  I placed a call to my landlord of the building and he said Micah be prepared its very bad, thats when I started think wow what happened.  Diana and I got down to the gym and checked the outside first, one side of our gym was completely covered with plywood and patched up.  So we went in and checked it out, our reaction, WOW a car literally drove through our Gym.

So witnesses say they say a man in a 2001 Crown Victoria try and pul a Uturn off right in from of our gym at 40mph at 1am drunk.  Not a wise move, needless to say he didnt make it but did end up driving 10 feet in our gym.  Our plama tv was destroyed, surround sound destroyed, elliptical, bike and stair stepper beat up pretty bad.  We were in total shock but very thankful that no one was in the gym at the time so no one was hurt.  The guy ended up actually backing out of the gym then driving to a store 2 blocks down the road jumping out of his car and running.  The plates were left on and the man was eventually caught the next day.  Many people left their comments of how sad, terrible thing, Diana and I kept very positive about the situation, in shock but far from defeated.  Drinking and fitness do not go together , here is another example.  If they guy wanted a transformation he could have just emailed me, lol.  The moral of this story is it is how you deal with a negative in times or turmoil.  We could have dwellled upon the situation all day but realized its just a wall, it will be released, the equipment will be replaced by newer and nicer equipment, tv will be replaced by a nicer one.  We also got to share our story on Channel 4 news last night at 9pm and 10pm!!

Keep your head up through tough uncontrollable times, know that God has a purpose for it and Big things will come from it if you remain positive.  We dont need walls to Transform!!!!!

Diana Chaloux and myself had the great opportunity of bringing the Wbff to the Us for the very 1^st fully run Wbff show.  We had worked nearly 6 months putting everything together making sure that this would be one of the very best shows that anyone in this area had ever seen.  I went into the show wanting quality athletes over quanity, we ended up getting both with nearly 200 athletes on stage.

We had the event at the Midland Theater which is a very Rich and Beautiful Venue, fitting for an event to this level.  We had Fox 4 and Kctv 5 covering the event as well as Kansas City Magazine.

CHANNEL 4 and 5 NEWS

We had the opportunity of introducing the New Category Muscle Model in the male division which was a huge success.  They granted 5 pro cards because the level of talent was simply amazing.  This new category will features guys that you would see in magazines like Status Fitness or Reps, a bigger fitness model.  It was a very fun category to watch.

The male fitness lineup was one of the very best male lineups I have ever seen since I have been in the sport with over 40 athletes on stage, the judges granted 4 pro cards which has also never been done.  Many of the guys that came out of Kansas City will do very well at Pro Level.

On Our Female side of things some very beautiful new talent came out of the Bikini, Fitness Model and Figure divisions.  Looking forward to seeing these ladies on stage at pro level.

I told all the athletes that many people lives would be changed that night many of these people didn’t even place.  Status Fitness Magazine gave over 20 photo shoots to different athletes, Fit and Firm will be featuring many athletes and Kansas City Fitness has things lined up with many competitors.

Some of the very best photographers in the business were there setting up shoots to get these athletes even more exposure including Don Bersano, G.W. Burns, David Bickley, Coach A, Noel Daganta  and Lhgfx.

For our Performer we had an Michael Jackson Dancer named Matt Czech.  One word to describe what him and his crew did.. AMAZING..

Will be very exciting to see everyone at the worlds!!!!
