Wow is all I can say about this duo.  Karen worked with me 1 on 1 for 13 weeks and scott did the online hitch fit 12 week plan.  The results sum up everything.  AMAZING.

My name is Karen, I’m a 32 year old wife and mother of two small children.  I had been struggling with my body ever since I put on the first few pounds with my first child.  Before I had kids I was in the gym at least 3 times a week and I felt I was in pretty good shape and I was comfortable with my body.  All I did were the cardio classes  I had never venturedon the other side of the wall where all the weight lifting equiptment was,  never quite felt comfortable trying to lift weights and frankly I didn’t even know where to start.

I had lost all the weight I put on after having my kids but after the second time around I wasn’t keeping it off.  My life became much more hectic and I didn’t take the time to do anything about it.   I had excuses like everyone else, I worked full time I have two small children at home along with a husband and there is no way to do all the things that needed to be done on a daily basis,  have time to exercise and prepare healthy meals.  Especially since my husband works opposite hours than me and his schedule changes every week.   I wasn’t happy with what I looked like, but I didn’t have to deal with it on a daily basis; at my job I wear scrubs everyday
so I never put on real clothes until the weekend.  I could hide from my body very easily until even my scrubs started to feel tighter and I knew I wanted something to change. After the first of the year I finally talked myself into getting our memberships renewed at the gym; I went and had someone make up a workout for me and even  kept up with it for several weeks, but soon after my motivation fizzled out.  I was getting bored doing the same thing over and over again and I wasn’t feeling any better about myself.  I had heard of Micah through my cousin and my first thoughts were that I can and should be able to do this on my own, but I wasn’t.  So I got in touch with Micah and set the date. I had a few weeks to wait before he had an opening for me but I thought that’s great I can get all my cravings out before I start and believe me I did.

My first day with Micah I was very nervous, I didn’t know if I would be able to keep up and I was afraid he would think I was weak, then I realized that’s why I was there because I was weak.  Every week got better and better, I can’t say easier because nothing is easy when it comes to a workout with Micah, but I was making it work.  I rearranged my priorities and realized you can make time for exercise but you have to want to.  I started to see changes in myself.  They started out small changes, but that was ok because I knew it was all leading up to something bigger.  A few weeks after I started,  my husband signed up with Micah’s online training.  He had been changing his eating habits right along with me so he figured he might as well make the best out of this situation and learn how to get himself back in shape as well.  For me this process was so much easier having the support and motivation of my husband.  He knew first hand what I was experiencing  to get to where I wanted to be and he encouraged me every step of the way.   My goal when starting this journey was to get back to the person I knew I could be and I feel I have accomplished that.   Micah provided  the tools and the  knowledge to make all this possible but before I would be successful I had to make a decision and choose what kind of lifestyle I wanted  or none of it will be worth it.  Micah pushed me to a level that I never knew I could reach and for that I am so grateful. Thank you, Micah, for always believing in me and making me believe in myself.

Scotts 12 week Online Transformation

Growing up I was always that tall super skinny kid.  I could eat anything without putting on weight.  I’d workout and never put on size or even see a change.  In Marchof 2006 I took  a position on the SWAT team for  KCPD.  I weighed about 170 starting out and all the guys I worked with told me “you have to eat big to get big”.  Being on the SWAT team we worked out three times a week, so being the hard gainer I was I hit the weights as hard as I could, along with the food.  Like they said “I had to eat big to get big” and boy I did.  We would all go out for lunch, and I’d clean my plate of unhealthy food and maybe some of theirs.  Just like what they said
I got big, I was 209 and they started calling me the skinny fat kid.  Boy that nickname fit.  My stomach was fat and the rest of me was still skinny.  I was feeling unhealthy but I in the gym I was lifting more weights than I ever  had before.  So I started on South Beach, in 3 weeks I was down to 190 lbs and was killing my cardio.  I stayed between 190-200 lbs and then again I took a career change.  I took a position in the K-9 unit.  I no longer worked out three times a week and my eating habits went back to being unhealthy. My wife and I got a gym membership and started to work out on our own.  I know what to do at the gym, so I thought, but my diet is where I was lost.
My wife and I have two small children and we found ourselves eating out way to often.  Fast food was way to easy for us to pass up with my wife working days and myself on nights we spent less time making dinner and less time cleaning up after dinner which meant more family time.  My wife and I were unhappy with the road we were going down. I was once again back up over 200lbs,and that is when Karen met Micah.  When Karen started with Micah she had to change her diet so I changed mine also, I was eating clean.  She was telling me about what she was doing at the gym and how it was kicking her ass.  Let me tell you there is nothing more motivating that your wife or loved one making those changes infront of you.  I started getting that fire under my ass.  Listening to my wife I realized I didn’t have a clue what I was doing in the gym or anything about diet, so 2 weeks after she started with Micah I signed up for his online program.  Karen and I had the best of both worlds, the motivation from each other and then from Micah.  Karen had it face to face and I had it through email and the cell phone.  It was great, I knew what to do in the gym and how to control my diet.  From the start I told Micah I just wanted to be toned and have endurance, running after a dog at work is very hard.  I can tell you there are guys at work that can’t keep up with the dogs or me.  As the weeks started going by I was dropping weight like crazy and I was seeing myself become more toned.
I could not have done this without the help from Micah, thank you for the knowledge and the motivation.  I could only imagine where I’d be if I meet you before I went to the SWAT team.  Micah I’d also like to thank you for motivating my wife who in return motivated me.  It was never a competition between her and I but I think she beat me.  Karen you are ripped and look amazing, we will let the pictures do the talking.  I’m so happy we did this together, thank you.   thanks again for everything, and congratulations on the engagement  we will plan on seeing you in a year!
